Fairview Black Simmentals is devoted to producing the seedstock cattle that the industry is demanding. They are typically a solid coat colour, polled head with good eye hooding, docile, fertile and with superior growth and carcass traits. They must have good confirmation, nice movement and correct feet and leg structure and be able to perform in the typical Australian climate.

 Our stud females are run under commercial conditions with selection on fertility, ease of calving and calf vigour. We want docile broody mothers with good fleshing and fat composition; cows that hold their body condition and get back in calf while lactating and rear an exceptional calf through to weaning.
